Add a word
[kanji:reading], kana stays literal. Example for 幸せ: [幸:しあわ]せ. Leave empty for kana-only words. Auto-fill fills this when it can.
Import words
Words your player sent. Look them over before they join your deck; readings, meanings and examples fill in on their own where the dictionary knows the word.
1 · Turn a rough word list into cards
Paste your words however you wrote them down — romaji you sounded out, kanji, kana, with or without a rough meaning. One per line. Misspellings and repeats are fine, that's what this step is for.
Paste that into whichever model you use, then bring the JSON it returns back to step 2.
Pick the file your model gave you, or paste the text. JSON or plain
word, reading, meaning lines both work.
Progress
Review pile
This is not a to-do list. Spaced repetition deliberately lets items pile up: a word you know well comes back in a month, one you keep missing comes back in ten minutes, so the "due" number swings around on its own and says more about the schedule than about you. Your daily target is 20 correct answers — clear that and the day is done, however big this number is. If you want more, keep going: once the pile is empty the review draws on words that aren't due yet, so practice never runs out.

Breakdown tools
Cards missing a proper etymology-style Breakdown (per KANJI_ETYMOLOGY_GUIDE.md) can be batched to any LLM you already have — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, whatever. Export bundles the guide + the cards' data as a single prompt. Paste the LLM's JSON back to merge.
Paste Breakdowns JSON to import
Expects an array of {"word":"…","explanation":"…"}. Matches by exact word. Existing Breakdowns are overwritten.
Account
A device token lets a video player or another app send words to your
Import tab. It can only add words: it can't see your deck or your
progress. Paste it into the app's settings together with this
address:
Copy it now. It won't be shown again.
Each code creates one account and stops working after 30 days.
